80% of 2050’s buildings already exist. It will be key to transition these assets to achieve net zero and retain value, as stranding is already being priced into valuations.
To help, we’ve developed our new Verte Energy Use Intensity (EUI) Tool – which reveals the EUI performance of your asset, and where it benchmarks against industry standards.
Click here to use our new EUI Tool.
How our tool works
Our tool has been created to reveal the EUI performance of your assets in use.
It then benchmarks the asset against the new UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard Pilot – as these tougher targets are what’s needed to accelerate decarbonisation across the built environment. Results are provided for both a one-go and stepped retrofit scenario.*
Our tool also shows the asset’s stranding year, according to CRREM data.
And you can test different refurbishment scenarios – MEP upgrade, light touch and deep retrofit – to understand the potential impact on your building.
Next steps
From here, you can develop a Net Zero Action Plan that details how your building will be transitioned to net zero in alignment with investment objectives, timescale and budget. Or contact us and the Verte team will be in touch to arrange a free 30-minute consultation to discuss the asset and a proposed action plan; we can also explore your broader portfolio’s requirements.
For more information on how to accelerate your decarbonisation journey, contact us at hello@verteltd.com – we’d love to hear from you.
* We are not currently benchmarking assets against UKNZCBS New Construction targets as a minimum of one year’s operational energy data is required. If you would like to understand EUI in the context of New Construction, please contact hello@verteltd.com to discuss your project’s specific requirements.
